She doesn’t realize that she would have better ratings if the news she reported was that she refused to interview the guy... yes, but i'm not so sure it's about ratings. the media has to be one of the most powerful weapons of manipulation in a free society.

I suppose for her it is about ratings. Not only does ratings = attention, but each ratings-point is to her like another dagger in the back of one of the conservatives she so rabidly hates.
