Few Californians even know about this.
If local news was responsible, this wouldn’t be the case.
It is, for whatever reason, a partisan issue, with the Democrats on the wrong side of course, so for that reason the media won’t touch it here. Neither has Arnold.
Some state represenatives, like Tom McClintock did, though.
Tom is in the US Congress now, and I bet he will make an issue of it there. However, he is only 1 of 435.
There is no "local" or any other from of "news". What we see on TV is propaganda for the DNC.
This is the number ONE reason why our country is in trouble IMO. The Founding Father's prescribed a "Free Press" to act as a further "check and balance" to the government. We just don't have one unfortunately.
There are a couple of bright spots i.e. one cable channel, and a couple of internet sites. But much more needs to be done. There are just way too many uninformed citizens.
Few Californians know that California as we know it shouldn’t exist. Go read/watch “Cadillac Desert”, documentary of how what was hardcore desert was turned into a lush breadbasket by wholesale statewide theft of water.
I’m finding out the hard way Atlanta is similar.
