What do they say now? I think I have some relatives like that but my only clue to where they stand is they won’t talk politics! Never could figure out why they can’t defend their positions or beliefs.
For me it's reversed. My liberal relatives (uncle especially) kept bringing up politics and I finally told them that I'd rather not get into political arguments with them because all it accomplishes is that we annoy each other or worse. They're otherwise great people and if we don't talk politics we have a really good time together. So, I don't know what they think of Obama now. I am guessing that they still support him though.
