Where are the community leaders and local politicians clamoring for these offices to be investigated? Perhaps they are too busy counting the dollars they funnel to them and the votes they generate from thin air.
Where is the management of ACORN promising an investigation and cooperation with authorities in cleaning up the problem? Maybe they're too busy counting their taxpayer funded salaries and perks and counting on bought politicians to come to their defense.
Where is President Obama saying "That's not the ACORN I knew"?
your post is right on...silence means acceptance.
Politically, yes. But individually, thinking of a 13 year old little girl, brought into a foreign country to sexually service adult men bothers me more on a human level than anything. “These are young girls” and ok, well just declare ‘em as dependents and no problem-o. It’s hard for me to picture a woman and probably a mother, not being so devastated by that image that the cops are being called immediately.
Of course, we know that ACORN doesn’t need an investigation or to clean up their own mess because hey, this was illegal taping right? And the people who gave that advice have been fired, right, even though the tapes were doctored. Right? And now we also know (wink-wink) that the workers’ voices were DUBBED IN! because ACORN says so. Incredibly terrific dubbing, I must say. So all those tapes can’t be real anyway (in that case, why fire people....?) And the two were kicked out of the NYC’s office because ACORN was on to them...oh wait, that one didn’t work. Their spin doctors must be going crazy on this one.
