How far have we come in this nation that when fraud is uncovered, when taxpayer FUNDED organizations are found to be willing to collaborate in setting up a BROTHEL for under-age illegal immigrants from El Salvador and the Attorney General of a major US City actually threatens the people who uncovered the corruption?
We support LIFE, we support LIBERTY, and we support the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS, in short, we support Human Dignity, and we know that immorality, corruption, and betrayal of common sense values, including protecting the life of the unborn and the sanctity of marriage, are the prime ingredients for seucity, freedom, and prosperity.
The recent case of ACORN being uncovered in its lack of ethics and morality, and its willingness to violate the law, is a graphic illustration of what happens when we pretend that morals do not matter.
I encourage you to go read Mark Tapstcotts article in the Washington Examiner that will tell you all about this and then I encourage you to TAKE ACTION, to let this Attorney General know how you feel and to tell your congressman know that you demand better oversight of such organizations!
The article is here: http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/blogs/beltway-confidentia...
Please tell others about this!
The only time morals matter to the other side is when they think WE don’t have any: one of ours gets caught doing something evil as opposed to 100 of theirs. Ours is the larger “sin.”
I contacted my representative demanding he heed the call for ACORN to be investigated and demand immediately ceasing anymore federal funding for ACORN. I suggest everyone contact their representatives for the same reasons.
IOW, they just use our own morals against us the way islam uses our own courts against us.
Not if you're a liberal or a democrat, in which case anything goes. Hollywood is a prime example. If it's raunchy and skanky, they bask in the glow of credit for it.
Hardcopy letter toboth senators and rep. Done.
Attorney General of a major US City actually threatens the people who uncovered the corruption?
Let him try it. Those folks would have the biggest legal defense fund on the freakin planet.
I DESPISE idiots like this.
Thanks for the comprehensive info on Acorn. I will start circulating via twitter, etc...
Sorry for the incorrect link up above. Here is the working link to The Washington Examiner.
The moral law is not always the standard by which we treat others, but it is nearly always the standard by which we expect others to treat us. It does not describe how we actually behave, but rather how we ought to behave.
Without Moral Law there would be no human rights, and there would certainly be no unalienable rights which we are endowed by our Creator. Without Moral law we would never know justice or injustice. Our Founding Fathers knew this and knew that the ultimate standard of morality or right and wrong would justify their cause, which is now our cause. Without this objective standard any objection to perceived evil is mere personal opinion. In fact without Moral Law no one would have any grounds for being 'for' or 'against' anything.
I think of the provincial impropriety of Jesus driving out the moneychangers. He did not offer an apology because he was justified by truth. Certainly Mr.Wilson is not Jesus but Wilson did tell the truth and that is ubiquitously asserted to in examination of the video and written record as well as HR 3200.
The ACORN matter is interesting in that few, if any, democrats have come forth and criticized the behavior of ACORN representatives and their recommendation. They have been silent on the subject, and thus declare their opinion. I wonder what they would say if Ms.Pelosi's daughter had exposed this purulent corruption, only to have ACORN and the Baltimore DA imply a threat of prosecution for these 2 children doing what seasoned jounalists should have done years ago.
Am I the only one who sees the irony, when African-Americans start to aid and abet slavery?
Human trafficking IS slavery.
