Czechs feel betrayed, Poles irked, Romanians slighted. Ask them who's to blame, and the answer may come as a surprise: Obama. George W. Bush fawned over Eastern Europe, and its leaders rushed to join his post-9/11 "coalition of the willing." Now manyofficials and ordinary citizens alikeare grumbling over what they perceive as the Obama administration's neglect. It's a startling shift in a region long accustomed to cozy ties with the United States.

Since Obama likes to give out apologies, it’s now my turn to apologize to the Poles and Czechs.
Posting the correct title prevents duplicates. This has been posted already, but under the correct title.

So true. It’s funny when they talked about Obama “repairing America’s perception damage” across the globe. We seemed to be fine in Eastern Europe and some of the former Soviet states. Eastern Europeans seemed to be very pro-Bush. I remember the visit Bush made in Albania. He was mobbed like a rock star. Bush gave more aid to Africa than any other president but got no credit.
He only apologizes for others, not for himself.

To Obama all of the Eastern European countries are illegal governments that overthrew their legal governments...and the fact that the legal governments were communist makes him hate them that much more.
Only 66%? The others probably haven’t been paying attention to Obama.
The others have applied for the U.S. visa lottery and are trying to leave.
What about Hungary? No mention in this article.
I was Budapest recently, and sad to say it appeared that Hungarian homeboy George Soros is curretly the most popular “American” in the Land of Goulash.

what am I missing here? i read 2/3’s approve of Obama in Eastern European countries.
