I predict as long as he uses demand based Keynesian Economics unemployment will be high and inflation will soon follow destroying any supposed economic recovery.

When voters wake up and put a supply-side Congress and President in who will massively cut taxes and encourage investment, industry will grow, jobs will be produced, and MAGICALLY people with jobs, security, and money will SPEND IT.

I swear I can explain that to my 9 year old boy. Why does Congress not understand that?

Great! Then let’s further crush the US economy with a trillion dollar tax increase to fund Obamacare. Then let’s add another crushing tax increase for the Tax and Ration bill (Cap and Trade). Isn’t Obamanomics great - trickle up poverty.

Why is anyone surprised? Summers is one of the academic economics establishment who think that a) econometrics can accurately predict the future, we just have to tweak the model, b) we can control the pace and direction of the economy and c) America can support all her citizens with white and green collar jobs.
If we are to build wealth, we must grow things, make things, dig and drill things from the earth.

“seriously complicate Barack Obama’s ability to convince Americans that he’s beating back the recession”

TAKE NOTE of the language in the above statement, he’s going to ‘convinve’ them that he’s doing something, it doesn’t mean he’ll actually DO anything....

I feel like I’ve awakened inside the Minitru, where facts and Truth go to die...

That is the plan, isn't it? The more social failures the schools can create and the more impoverished middle classers the Oboma administration can create - the more the people will have to vote for socialists if they want to eat.

People must learn to get back to the soil and become more self sufficent. The politicians will not and cannot save them. The politicians only have the politicians best interest at heart.

Didn’t economic advisers predict increased unemployment with the passage of increased minimum wage? So why is anyone surprised?

Unemployment will continue until private industry recovers the jobs exported in the last 10 years by government to government fleece trade agreements.
