Many of you don’t credit this; but a couple of heavy metal groups have gotten very patriotic: Iron Maiden, extolling Britain’s finest hour; and Iced Earth, as above. This group got really serious about the greatness of America right after 9/11 — and put forth what I consider to be the most patriotic album ever made, Glorious Burden.

Well. It was an OK post; but not good enough to merit twice. Sorry/

That’s ok. Missed the first post but caught the second one. Kinda like when duplicate threads are posted I miss the first one but see the next :-)

For what ever reason there have been many duplicate posts on many threads today.

Been a long day. Been reading all the 9-11 posts. Emotionally draining but necessary. Have to make sure I never forget.

WONDERFUL! Hearing President Bush’s sincere, strong voice is still so comforting! It is such a contrast to Obama’s shallow platitudes. September 11 will always be for those of us who experienced it a Day of Remembrance, now know as Patriot Day. We will NEVER allow Obama and his minions to co-opt it and turn it into some politically correct day to pick up trash or paint low-income houses.
