Krauthammer has come a long way since his days as a Reagan-bashing Democrat speechwriter.
Thank heaven Krauthammer is calling it like it is. It made me sick when Charles Krauthammer said that Obama’s oratory was “elegant”....yuck!
Actually, I like that Krauthammer speaks what he feels and the absolute majority of the time he’s right. Sometimes it feels like a bitter pill but I do think he’s one of the most honest and spot on commentators we have.
But ! - that’s just me.
I don't find anything "elegant" or "eloquent" about Obama's oratory.
Isn’t “elegant snakeoil” some sort of oxymoron?

It can’t be an “amazing performance” if you can see the lies.
I continue to be amazed that they call Obama a brilliant speaker. He just doesn’t come across that way to me. He moves his head back an forth mechanically and uses the same cadence over and over again.
I have also been searching for these masterful oratorical skills The One possesses. I have yet to witness the “gift” others, not excepting the right, spout high praise over.

He gets a lot of mileage out of his pleasant baritone speaking voice, but if that is the criterion for a good president, then either James Earl Jones or Morgan Freeman should have been the first black president, because their voices are even better than Barack Obama’s.

I agree but what drives me Nuts is when people wont call a guy a Liar when he is . What they do is what Charles Did ,they praise how SMOOTH he was and they say it with such Envy and awe and it becomes a Compliment instead of condeming that type of action,lying to the people on an issue of such importance
Compare Him as a Speaker to Ann Coulter,who wins ? No Contest ,I am going to stand in the Rain this Morning in Bridgeport Ct. to listen to who I know the winner is ANN COULTER. I would not follow that FAKE Phony and Fraud Obumbo into the water or anyplace else .
“Elegant” and “eloquent” are code words for “knows how dish the bull sh$$.
I think the term “silver-tongue devil” would fit appropriately in regard to the content and way Obama gives a speech; for those that are uninformed, he can make any lie the truth.
