I dont think his definition of American exceptionalism as the idea that the US “can do whatever it wants” is very well-accepted. Sounds like another one from the hate-America crowd. Why am I not surprised?

America does share it’s wealth with the rest of the world through the distribution, direct or indirect, of its technology.
