Hm..interesting that a Kia has beaten MPG than the comparable Toyota. That is an area in which Hyundai/Kia has not been competitive. Maybe they are starting to figure that out.

For an extra $600.00 on the Forte, you can get a fuel mileage efficiency package. It includes a five speed auto, special compound tires, and some minor aero stuff that brings you up to 36 mpg.

Not bad for a car that smokes the Toyota, Honda, and Mazda 3, eh?
