This is the Speechifying Presidency but whatever President Barry Soetoro’s pontifications are on Wednesday night regarding Health Care Reform the fact of the matter is he tried to hoodwink and bamboozle the nation with a rush to passing this bill already.
We all know that he originally demanded that Congress have the Health Care Reform bill on his desk to sign before Congress’ August recess. What you didn’t know is that even if Congress would have been totally successful in accomplishing that task Democrats have written the bill so that the actual reform doesn’t start until 2013—2013?!? (see story)
Wait you mean this is like the Stimulus package that Congress rushed through in a record 2 days? That bill incidentally sat on president Soetoro’s desk for 3 days after Congress passed it because the president was on vacation. But weren’t we told that the stimulus bill had to be passed immediately or the whole economic engine of the United States would melt down?
Yeper that’s right! That’s exactly what they told us.
Is it just me, or does anyone else detect a pattern emerging here...
