When asked on NBC’s “Meet the Press” whether Barack Obama had ordered the resignation of green czar Van Jones, White House senior advisor David Axelrod retorted:
"Absolutely not -- this was Van Jones' own decision.”
Axelrod’s answer is telling. His defiant tone suggests that the thought of firing Jones had never been entertained by President Obama, thus protecting Obama’s image among the radical left. On the other hand, Axelrod’s response might be the product of a special arrangement with Jones – a man who probably knows more than we do about some of Obama’s deepest convictions.
Most disturbing however is what seems to be Axelrod’s indignation at the mere suggestion that Obama would ever decide to fire Jones.
Doesn’t this say something about our president?
I read somewhere(could have been one of your posts) that Obama waved off FBI background checks for most of his czars.
Anything to this? We know Van Jones could never pass a background check.

The evidence shows Jones was not vetted properly.
Waving off FBI background checks for people in high-level WH positions is a serious security issue (governed by the Constitution)........several laws were broken.
Perhaps some of our ace FReeper researchers can root out this issue....so that we can report it to the proper authorities in its entirety.
Those many page forms for Vetting people must have been reserved for Cabinet members.
Again was Van Jones vetted? If so who vetted him and said it was okay to put a Green Communist into a Czar position.
What did Van Jones cost Americans re $’s via extorsion for his green commy buddies?

I can’t upload, I get froze up or kicked off. I’ve used FireFox, everyone said
that would solve the problem, but it hasn’t.

Every once in a while they seem to get an unannounced glitch. I haven’t posted pictures in a few weeks but last time I tried, several weeks ago, I was not able to post. Then it cleared up. I also browse the web through Firefox.
I’se switched to FireFox as well. Seems to react faster.
I’ve done all of the upgrades, flash, and the other stuff from Hippofile.com thing.
I still get froze up in IE, and totally kicked off with FireFox. damn

Ohaha gave Jones $30 BILLION to do with as he pleased. This conniving Communist surely found numerous ways to shovel US government money to himself, his friends and relatives, during his blessedly abbreviated tenure.

(1) Jones "platinum exit package" needs investigation.
(2) We demand an external audit of every government nickel and dime this turkey Jones spent.
(3) We demand external audits and L/E investigations WRT any and all contracts he gave to so called non-profits, companies, enviral groups and green corporations.
(4) Every government contact made by this green communist must get an external audit;
(5) Any and all government contracts Jones signed should be scrutinized.
(6) We demand a complete external audit of his agency's budget.
(7) Companies that faced any Chicago-type of black/greenmail thug pressure to agree with this thug Jones, need to get their story out.
(8) Contact Glenn Beck to start the ball rolling.

We should demand a similar accounting from the other czar offices. Just because they are quieter than Jones doesn’t necesarily make them anymore honest or responsible.
Thanks for mentioning it, Dave. That was going to be my big question this afternoon...always good to see FReepers with the same concerns getting the word out.
Now, while most people don't choose their families, they do choose their friends and can be judged by their choices. That Axelrod would help choose and then cover for a fellow socialist " watermellon" (green on the outside, red on the inside) is not surprising. Being a proud "revolutionary Communist" may be an asset to the Obama administration, not a disqualification.
That said, is not this about time that GOP make at least a wee bit of noise about Obama's and Democrats' "politics of czarism" and insist that anyone in position of [fiscal or regulatory] authority or responsibility in the White House should automatically undergo FBI background check available to Congress for a necessary confirmation process, i.e. treating "czars" as members of Cabinet. That should put an end to this silly, undemocratic and subversive tactic.
Is not it interesting how socialists (David Axelrod, Rahm Emanuel, Michael Moore, just to name a few) trash and abuse the capitalist system for public consumption and to their receptive know-nothing audience, while at the same time getting filthy rich off of it.
