) Tell the Congress to make the bill much less lengthy.
Listen to the people. No one thought the 1017 page house bill was just the right size. Tell the Congress that they need to write a bill in 250 pages or less. That still gives them plenty of space. Then, it doesn't become overwhelming to read. This is one of those things that infuriates the voters more than anything. When a bill is 1017 pages long, that's a breakdown in the process. It's not excusable or acceptable. Two hundred pages or less is all any bill should need for a sensible health care reform package.

Excellent article.
CATO had a nice suggestion:
Turning the camera's, microphones and televisions off would be three of many I can think of.
When Churchill was PM during the war he routinely required all matters sent to him on policy, war, manufacturing, strategy etc to be in two pages or less. He reasoned that if you couldn't say it in that amount of space you didn't have sufficient grasp of the situation or didn't know what you were talking about and just wanted to baffle him with BS.
Here's my suggestion... screw you Obama and the horse you rode in on... take your family and run for the hills because your political capital is all gone...
Obama Sensible - How can they be in the same sentence????
It is the fact that it mandates universal coverage and penalizes individuals and businesses that do go along with the program. It also means that the government will be dictating what is "acceptable coverage." Moreover, it does nothing to contain costs or improve the delivery and access to healthcare. No bill is better than this monstrosity. Moderate my ass.
I don’t care if the bill consisted of a phrase. I want this thing nuked, period.
How about they just drop health care. Obummer and congress have about zero credibility right now. I wouldn’t even trust them to take out my garbage and they think they’re remake the health care system. I’d prefer they just take a real long summer recess... like until January 2011.
