You know what the left would do if Bush had done such a traitorous thing.

Actually, just mythoughts, BOTH items you posted from boston.com are from the wire news services, AP and Reuters, dateline Damascus. Real Americans there. The stories are so similar that both obviously were based on a JANA (Libyan official government news agency) press release. But you are choosing to buy those stories lock, stock and barrel.

You will find an American story on McCain’s pre-release position on freeing the terrorist right next to an ABC/NBC/CBS/MSNBC/CNN/NYT/WaPo story about Van Jones and his Communist connections and Truther petition before he resigned.

YES!! A boston.com are from the 'wire news service', AP and Reuters, dateline Damascue. My contention is that boston.com could have easily have gotten from the horses mouth what is what. And as is linked earlier a UK press claimed words I have yet to find out of American press. McCain KNEW in spite of what he said was Washington's position.

LINKS please. His position DID NOT stop him from praising the Colonel G., and a trade mission!!!!!

“McCain KNEW in spite of what he said was Washington’s position.”

And you know that how? Because he and other Senators participated in a trade mission to Libya a few weeks before the release? That’s a logical conclusion if ever!

Honestly, you are trekking into tinfoil hat territory. Senators and Congressmen make trips called ‘trade missions.’ It happens all the time. The trade mission in no way connects to said Senators and/or Congressmen being apprised of a potential release of a convicted terrorist by a third country.

Suppose I should have put a /sarc after the comment about the story being in the MSM. Bottom line: the US media didn’t and wouldn’t carry the story of what McCain said before the release. And, now that it is public knowledge based on statements of UK Foreign Secretary Jack Straw that Obama and Straw’s US counterpart, Hillary Clinton, knew in advance of the release, there is NO way the MSM will credit McCain with warning beforehand that the release would be found intolerable by Americans.

Why don’t you ask Boston.com to conduct some interviews to clear this up since it seems so important to you to nail the man you choose to call “McLame.”
