I would say the msm is a sewer of misinformation. You can start with msnbc and cnn for openers.

Predictable.

Maybe they could just rerun some old episodes warning about Rush Limbaugh.

It would have been nice if at least one person on the panel said something along the lines of, “If it hadn’t been for the internet, no one would have heard about Van Jones and his wackiness.”

Ah, it’s the ‘unfiltered’ bit they really hate.

When will these morons get it? The reason blogs and conservative media is flourishing is that they give what the people demand. Will the MSM go down with the Obama ship?

(Just curious.)

"the internet is an open sewer of untreated, unfiltered, information."

None of us could have put the issue more plainly:
our information is supposed to be treated and filtered

I seem to remember Dan Rather had similar sentiments about people in their pajamas.

I miss Tim Russert. Compared to Gregory, he was a moderate. These MSM celebrities need to recognize they no longer have a lock on the news. And we need to thank God for the internet. Just imagine where we would be without it. The Communist-Green, former Jobs Czar was caught being himself and that’s all. I wonder if anyone at the next Presidential a$$-kissing press conference will even ask Gibbs a question about the resignation.

What is not surprising at all about the DBM/dems is how they can be somewhat smart but so unbelievably foolish at the same time.

The MSM has morphed from a liberal bias, to complete shills for the left, to advocates of suppression of press views they don’t agree with. If Obama declared a trumped up national emergency; suspended the bill of rights; imprisoned political opponents; and shut down Fox News and conservative talk radio. . . the ABCCBSNBC/NYTimes/WaPost media shills would cheer the One for taking tough measures to save the country.

"Open sewer," or "fountain of America's Founders' ideas"--guess it's all in what your world view is.

The TEA Partiers and Town Hallers seem to have been using the Internet for refreshing their minds on the "ideas of liberty" and understand that expansion of government's coercive power by elected and unelected officials in Washington is not what the Founders had in mind.

The fact that Mark Levin's "Tyranny and Liberty" is high on the bestseller list for so long is another indication that ordinary American citizens are reading and using web sites where their founding documents and the Founders' writings are enlightening their minds.

What a bunch of smarmy SOB’s! We American are too dumb to know how to find the truth. Only the smart talking heads on my TV or in the NY Times are smart enough and informed enough to be able to tell me what to think! I fart in their general direction!

"One of the panelists said "the internet is an open sewer of untreated, unfiltered, information."

This statement perfectly tells what is wrong with the "main stream media". They no longer control the news and information people get, and they are just hating it!

They are pissed off because they no longer control the debate. Moreover, the truth has a ring to it. If someone is full of it, then they will eventually lose the majority of followers. Thus, this is why NBC, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, Washington Post, NY Times, etc are losing numbers fast because they make flat out lies like in this video.

If what people said about Van Jones is so wrong. Let’s challenge them point by point and then let the people decide. Van Jones was on tape multiple times. How they (media/papers) can say this is not true is beyond me?

Bottom line. These people in the media and press for the most part (as displayed on this panel) are control freaks. They want to control your life because they are elitist. They believe they are smarter than anyone else, and want to force you to do things that you do not want to do. It’s because they are Psychos, Atheist and Perverts. Liberalism/Socialism/Communism is a mental disorder.
