On Tuesday, September 8th, The Hope Institute for Children and Families will open the doors to a innovative new Chicago contract school, the Hope Institute Learning Academy. The public-private partnership school brings The Hope Institute for Children and Families' Maximum Benefits Model into the public school system discarding the traditional cookie-cutter approach to education in an effort to help every child develop their maximum potential.
The Hope Institute Learning academy, a 2010 Renaissance School, will initially offer enrollment for K-3 students. However, the school has plans to expand to a full kindergarten through twelfth grade program in the coming years. Through a collaborative partnership with Victory Schools, Depaul University and the Institute for Juvenile Research at UIC, the school will provide an inclusive, one of a kind, university-affiliated education program to the city.
The Hope Institute Learning Academy and their partners have designed a unique educational program that provides students access to a curriculum of programs and service based upon the individual needs of each student in an effort to allow students an teachers to optimize each child's potential. Each student will receive personalized lesson plans and access to the newest and most innovative educational programs such as Pearson's enVisionMATH, which combines next-generation technologies and visual animation to provide an engaging and sensory driven foundation for learning.
