It is interesting that both Clinton and Bush had ONLY two instances there they spoke to a Joint Session of Congress ... in other cases that was over an 8 yeaar term.

This will be Obama’s second speech to a Joint Session of Congress.

Interestingly, the State of the Union address is actually a joint session of Congress, as well. It looks a little different because there are other invitees (the President is an invitee), including the Supremes, Cabinet members and the Joint Chiefs.

So, to be technically accurate, both W and Clinton delivered (I believe) eight SotU speeches to joint sessions, with each delivering an additional non-SotU speech to a joint session of Congress during their presidency.

And this is with the full support of the msm outside of Fox news. If the media was just even in its support Barry’s support would be about 10%.
