Barack Obama, Ruler of the World and Appeaser of Rouge States ?

It happens every September, the opening of a new UN Session, leaders and despots from all around the world come to NY many of them to stand in front of the General Assembly, situated in the biggest city in the US, and spend hours telling the world the United States is lousy. This year will be no different.

This year will be President Barack Obama's first trip to the UN to address the General Assembly. Judging by the POTUS' first months in office he will probably follow the tradition of other nations and spend hours telling the world the United States is lousy.

When Obama comes to the UN he will also be taking the opportunity of officiating a meeting of the United Nations Security Council , a totally unprecedented step. No US President has ever run a meeting of the Security Council, the only UN body with any authority.

The purpose of Obamas unusual step? Well if you check the agenda he has laid out, the purpose is to appease rogue states:
