Here is a CNN video report that White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs characterized as "silly season," the concern of parents and schools over President Obama's Speech to school children next Tuesday, September 8.
Gibbs apparently made the remarks when asked for a response to the firestorm created by Obama's plan to speak simultaneously to America's school children via a Live Broadcast next week.
Of course, the White House is trying to spin this as nothing different than Republican Presidents have done in the past. But, no Republican President has sent out preparation packets urging children to write out how they can "help President Obama."

What really should happen because of the Obozo school propoganda thing, is for the U.S. Department of Education (Department of Propaganda) should be totally eliminated.......

I have contacted my children’s school. They will be showing the kids this ....video or telecast or whatever. I asked what do I need to do to keep my kids from seeing this. The secretary said to send a note and they can go to the library. They had better not treat my kids like they are being punished or I will have to go off.
Keep your cool, “Educators” are because of the administrative structure absolutely ham strung as far as latitude with their job.
Most of the “teachers” really would like to control their classes and material for themselves. If they did, and got rid of the worthless teachers, everyone would benefit. But the labor unions dominate this cast system in most states.
This is why home school as an option is growing. It is unfortunate, it need not be this way.
All that should be important is giving the students a good well rounded education. Instead it is about legality and protecting the cast system.
