On Fox News Special Report today (September 3rd), Bret Baier revealed that under socialized medicine, British doctors are concerned about some terminally-ill patients being forced to die prematurely. Is this what we can expect from the end-of-life “care and counseling” from HR 3200?

CUSTOMER: Here's one -- nine pence.
DEAD PERSON: I'm not dead!
MORTICIAN: What?
CUSTOMER: Nothing -- here's your nine pence.
DEAD PERSON: I'm not dead!
MORTICIAN: Here -- he says he's not dead!
CUSTOMER: Yes, he is.
DEAD PERSON: I'm not!
MORTICIAN: He isn't.
CUSTOMER: Well, he will be soon, he's very ill.
DEAD PERSON: I'm getting better!
CUSTOMER: No, you're not -- you'll be stone dead in a moment.
MORTICIAN: Oh, I can't take him like that -- it's against regulations.
DEAD PERSON: I don't want to go in the cart!
CUSTOMER: Oh, don't be such a baby.

Anyone have that video of the Dutch woman telling the story of what happened to her mother who was in a nursing home in the Netherlands? I’m trying to find it. I guess I didn’t put it in my “favorites” on YouTube. That should scare you shitless.

British doctors...one thing forgotten in the current uproar over the so-called healthcare bill is that the basis for Obama's single payer system, for which he will continue to push no-matter how the current bill comes out, was approved last winter in the "Stimulus" bill - a nationwide computerized medical records system and a "comparative effectiveness panel", which can morph into a NICE board like they have in Britain, giving out permission or denials for treatment as their bureaucrats see fit. They're already written into law here and funded by billions of taxpayer dollars......

But we don't have to go to Great Britain to find examples of proposed medical barbarity. Obama's medical advisor, Zeke Emmanuel (brother if one if his other advisors, Rahm), sees people essentially as economic liabilities - if they're weak, incapacitated, or just not able to pull their own weight, they don't deserve medical services because they're not contributing to society. Thus those diagnosed as demented should not receive medical treatment of any kind, for example. My mother was found to have Alzheimer's Disease but survived six years before finally passing away - by Emmanuel's standards, she wouldn't have had even basic medical care during that time - the better to die early and remove one more burden from society - I'm sort of glad she didn't live to see what's going on today.......
