Yesterday NewsReal's Kathy Shaidle blogged about Carl Tomanelli, a retired police officer who was ejected from a Town Hall meeting for asking a question without a ticket:
It’s come to this: Shea-Porter — who first made a name for herself after being expelled for disrupting a 2005 George W. Bush event, along with other protesters who were wearing makeshift Nazi uniforms — is now blithely kicking retired New York City police officers out of her public meetings for — wait for it — “asking a question without a ticket.”
Yes, really: only constituents who’d won a sort of free speech “lottery” were permitted to question their elected representative at this particular town hall.

The proponents of BO’s HellCare have jumped the shark. The American people won’t stand for this abuse of free speech and the right to dissent.
We need to bank the fires of outrage and keep the memories of these injustices alive, so that when election time comes we can summon all this anger again and vote these ARROGANT BASTARDS out of office.
Give yourself a chuckle now with just the thought of Sheila Jackson Lee (aka “Queen”) actually working for a living or, more likely, unemployed.
Does anyone know if Senators and Representatives still get their Federal retirement with benefits IF THEY ARE DEFEATED? HOW ABOUT if they are IMPEACHED?
It's one of my fondest dreams.
