I just got off the phone with the Superintendents office here where I live. They will be showing it but parents can make the choice if they want their child to opt out or not. She said letters will be going on tomorrow and permission slips. My kids will not be watching Obamas indoctrination of them!!

Where my wife teaches, the basic comment I’ve heard from teachers is “we don’t have time for this c***”.

So?...What about your First Amendment Right to direct the free association of your children? You are aware, being a Freeper, that free assembly is a First Amendment Right?

After the Obamination session, your child will be **forced** by the government workers in this indoctrination camp to assemble with those ( of the government workers dictate) with those who have been contaminated with this communfascist bilge!

There is really only one solution: Remove your child permanently. Persuade your friends, neighbors, and relatives to do the same. And...Work for the complete shut down of every K-12 indoctrination camp ( misnamed “schools”) in the nation.

Opting out will cause problems, too. This forces the kids, or the parents, to declare political sides. There WILL be repercussions for opting out, especially in intercity public schools.

Parents who object to this travesty should organize an "alternative activity" for the kids who don't want to watch the speech. How about a pizza party or a make-you-own-ice cream sundae party! You could have pony rides or games! Better yet, have a fried chicken and watermelon party. Just for the libs you could call it a "Summer Festival!"

I call that answer forcing the kid to watch it. Why? Social Coercion. (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coercion) No kid wants to be separated from the group.

Tell them, in no uncertain terms, that such a policy is simply unacceptable because it is unfair social coercion. It is a dereliction of official duty on their part — they must first review the speech for content. There is no reason they cannot, it is easily recorded and played back on some more appropriate day as part of a prepared lesson plan.
