Last night, MSNBC host Ed Schultz used his network's airways to hope Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-MN, would come on his show and commit suicide.
As part of his appropriately named "Psycho Talk" segment, he featured Bachmann's unfortunately worded statement to a group opposing socialized medicine: "What we have to do today is make a covenant, to slit our wrists, be blood brothers on this thing. This will not pass. We will do whatever it takes." She intended to unite everyone opposed to government-imposed health care rationing against Democratic attempts to push through the public "option," but the thought of a dead Republican set Schultz's heart aflutter. With a disconcerting gleam in his eye, he asked:
Any takers? Do you think we could get Michelle Bachmann to slit her wrist right here on "The Ed Show"?His bloodlust bon mot is part of the Left's long history of pining for the deaths of its political enemies. President Obama visibly chuckled when Wanda Sykes "joked" about Rush Limbaugh's kidneys failing at the Washington Correspondents Dinner. One of Schultz's many predecessors as talk radio's Great Left Hope, Randi Rhodes, repeatedly called for the assassination of President Bush, and Air America Radio prescribed the torture of Donald Rumsfeld. I cataloged a number of the most notorious examples of left-wing hatred this May in a lead story at FrontPage Magazine. As I noted, in the Left's secular pseudo-religion, conservative devils forestalling progress toward their glorious Utopia must be exorcised. Add Psycho Ed's statement to the list.

Ed Schultz is proof that not all trash that comes out of a trailer votes Republican.
Will the advertiser flee?
what a messed up world we live in
Horrible thing for Schultz to say, but Bachmann has been a treasure trove of foot in mouth disease. She needs to leave the one liners to professionals.
Surprising? Nope. PMSNBC libturds are alllllllll class..
The bloviating butthole ought to follow his own advice..
Are you a Troll?
I bet you are. Michelle is the best or one of the best in the party.
Another peace-loving, tolerant liberal who routinely relieves himself of “opinions” that would get any Republican drummed out of decent society.
Ed Schultz doesn’t even believe anything Ed Schultz says according to family & friends.
He is in it for the money, fame, and backslapping with a bunch of powerbrokers.
It’s all an ego trip & a fat checking account for fat boy.
ED, You first.
Do it on National TV, think of the ratings.
Don't you mean all ASS!
I heard that quote “Slit our wrists and make a covenant against healthcare” and thought at first she was talking about suicide, a very odd turn of phrase on Bachman’s part.
Nice necktie. Too bad it’s not the Colombian kind.
I think you are misdirecting your post to me. Poster #4 made those remarks. My suggestion, to be plain was for Mr. schultz to achieve room temperature on the air. Think of the ratings!
There’s always the Sicilian one..
