Don’t bet on it folks, the only reason to have this battle in the first place is to get the public option for control. I don’t give a crap what the walking teleprompter says there is no way he won’t be going for the public option. If he can’t do it directly he’ll set up the back door to do it later.
CO-OPs are the perfect back door... set em up, require them to spend more than they can bring in, they go belly up and the gubment bails them out and takes them over.
Don’t kid yourself for one minute, this is and has never been about health care reform, and they aren’t going to walk away with nothing.
