Our worst fear is that McCain and his ilk will “reach across the aile”(what a puke inducing statement)and snatch defeat from victory. We need this health care bill gone, it is unconstitutional and is merely the foot in the door, after it is passed, no matter how much they gut it, it will be added onto after it is passed in the senate. “Kill the Bill” to paraphrase a movie title. No health care bill, period!

Good god, Obambi thinks he has his right flank covered (he doesn’t, but he’s acting like he does), and now, this from his formerly secure left. Not to mention, this is rather reminiscent of all dictatorships and corrupt top down organizations that fail when threatened from without...the cronies start trying to cut their own damn deals. Look for it soon. More insanity’s going to come out of this WH, soon. But we need to see it for what it is...increasing desperation. They’re losing, they know it and they’re getting desperate.

Typical libs. Make a lot of noise about something to garner some semblance of sympathy (not sure what they would get here)then ignore it when it comes time for the votes. You watch for the final bill that is voted on in the House and gets passed out of the Senate. It will be close to HR 3200 with lots of provisions for government intervention into our private lives including our medical records, our bank accounts and our health options. Defeat this before it kills the economy and a government bureaucracy of several million is set up to administer it like the Post Office. If it passes, don’t plan to get sick or injured on a weekend or holiday.

In practice since the government simultaneously runs the public option plan and regulates the private plans the private plans will be regulated into oblivion (just how hard is it to put your competition out of business when you can write the government regulations that make their business unprofitable?) and everyone will wind up in the single payer plan. Which is the long-term goal.
Of course there will be a “special” plan for government employees and their dependents, and certain other specially designated people, which will keep them from being thrown into the same health sewer as the average Joe.
