The constitution and the underlying principles it represents are the glue that hold us together. Undermine that and you undermine the entire structure. The US is a moral creature in a way no other country is on earth. It holds together while the people believe in it and love it. It will unravel when its earnest core of believers are no longer enough to knit together the whole.
Thats why slow-walking away from the constitution is so dangerous. Take away the unifying principles and the unifying affections and only force remains.
Force is on the way, administered by OH!bama's soon-to-be-organized corps of well armed young hoodlums masquerading as a national police force. OH!bama promised during his campaign that his youthful Gestapo will be armed and financed equally as well as the US Armed Forces, but his personal armed force won't be on the side of law abiding American patriots.
I would advise every gun owner to buy or reload as much ammo as he or she can afford. But somehow the supply of ammunition and reloading components through the normal commercial channels has mysteriously dried up since OH!bama took office, and no one involved in that industry seems to know just why that should be happening right now. Hmmm, I wonder why that would happen during an economic depression and widespread unemployment?
“Civilizations do not fall because of the barbarians at the gates. Nor does a great city fall from the death wish of bored and morally bankrupt stewards presumably sworn to its defense. Civilizations fall only because each citizen of the city comes to accept that nothing can be done to rally and rebuild broken walls, that ground lost can never be recovered; and that greatness lived in our grandparents but not our grandchildren. Yes, our betters tell us these things daily. But that doesn’t mean we have to believe it.
—Bill Whittle, “The Undefended City”
I think the majority of the American people will turn away from 0bama before they will turn away from America. If he pushes too hard, he and his ilk will be summering in some African country with a price on their heads if they ever try to return to this country. Maybe Zimbabwe will welcome him, they seem to have the economics that he likes.
