what an absolute waste of resources and energy to be involved in a 3rd party campaign against Dodd. There is a 4 or 5 person GOP primary developing ... and when a 3rd-party candidate makes sense in Connecticut (versus Gov. Rell), there is none.

Pete, do you think the Republican process will produce a truly conservative candidate?

the results of the GOP primary will reflect the efforts of the people who participate.

if a few thousand conservatives fail to participate, that will be reflected in the results. 5000 extra votes in the primary (against Simmons) will have a serious impact. 5000 votes in the general .... won’t mean diddly.

Nominate men and women who understand and will keep their sworn oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, and you won’t have to worry about the competition.

You do believe in the virtues of competition, right?

you can do what you want but:
after watching the hearings for Scalia, Thomas, Roberts, and Alito if it isn’t clear which party opposes the written Constitution ... I doubt it will get any clearer in the future.

If there is nobody in the GOP primary (4 candidates) who is worthwhile, I doubt there every will be.

If Dodd is re-elected by 1% over a superior GOP candidate and then he continues to participate in the destruction of America ... the people who sat out the election or supported some candidate who got 2% of the vote: they are complicit.

there are dozens of “limited government conservatives” running for Congress all over the country. Here are 2 in the northeast who are running serious campaigns and have significant support.

If someone gets a special thrill out of supporting somebody who gets 1% of the vote, I guess it takes all kinds.

“limited government conservatives”

Most of the Republicans who controlled the federal government for the last decade laid claim to that title. But I'm hard-pressed to find which parts of the federal behemoth they actually limited.

Talk is cheap.

If someone gets a "special thrill" out of wasting their time, energy and money supporting somebody who talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk, I guess it takes all kinds.

After a quick pass over Hoffman’s website I have to say that I’m not impressed.

As I said earlier, Earl Sholley has my full support, and the support of our Massachusetts affiliates.

Here is the link to recordings of the America's Summit - Restore the Republic calls.

Last night's call (Sept. 1) was very interesting and informative. Great guests who really got down to brass tacks, especially in the area of true health care reform that is in accord with liberty.
