In the October 2009 issue of Consumer Reports, the freshened Ford Mustang outpointed two other reincarnated muscle cars the Chevrolet Camaro and the Dodge Challenger. The Mustang received a Very Good overall road test score of 78, outpointing the Camaro which received a Very Good 71, and the Challenger, which received a Good 53 points.

Funny thing is back in 81-89 I would have been upset about this. I still am not buying a ford, however GM will never see any more of my cash.
I’m surprised they didn’t re-label the Yaris as a “muscle car”, just so they could “rate” it higher than the Mustang.
Consumer Reports is worthless...They use numbers to give a false sense of accuracy and to impart a bogus validity. In they end, too much of it’s subjective and based upon if the reviewer likes the cup holders or not.

I’m with you on CU. My history with these guys goes back to the mid-70’s. They rated one of the most unreliable pieces of merchandise we sold as highly reliable. ‘Course, there was a HUGE markup on that particular item and I made good money selling it.
