In late August, the Obama administration released revised budget projections reflecting an increase of the 10-year budget deficit projection from $7.1 to $9 Trillion. This increase puts the White House in line with the Congressional Budget Office Projection(CBO) of $9.3 trillion. The deficit projections on the part of the White House and the CBO were most likely very understated, as they assumed that Congress will hold federal spending at the rate of inflation over the next decade, something as likely as a real live unicorn turning up on your front porch tomorrow morning.
The newest revelation about the President's budget is that reflects about $622 Billion in savings over 10 years, from medicare and medicate that are part of the Obamacare bill going through the congress but it doesn't reflect any of the costs of the Obamacare program. Obviously it is disingenuous to reflect the savings from a program without reflecting the costs.
Once again the POTUS is trying to throw a smoke screen in front of the budget deficit to make our economic situation seem better than it is:

While I'm at it, I'd like to make public complaint over all the pols, talking-heads and newsies who are STILL getting the terminology wrong. The annual deficit is NOT the cumulative National Debt, it is beyond tiresome to have a senator claim something is "deficit neutral" when talking about this health care fiasco in an attempt to assure the people at the town hall when what is meant is there would be no increase in the debt (baloney) or one of the presstitutes reporting on a story letting us know the deficit has reached an all-time high when it is patently obvious that it is the DEBT that has reached the all-time high! Please already, get it straight!!
