Texans Fall Short In Favre Bowl

Reliant Stadium - It took Adrian Peterson just under eight seconds to scamper 75 yards on the game’s first play to put Minnesota up 7-0. It also took just under eight seconds for the NFL’s best running back to leave the Texan’s coaching staff with a pounding headache as they frantically search for answers as to how best shore up their porous defensive.

The only good thing about Monday’s 17-10 lost to the Vikings is the fact that it is still only the preseason. Granted, the hysteria surrounding the Brett Favre circus provided the ambiance of a playoff-type atmosphere at Reliant Stadium.

To go at a guys knees, especially in a pre-season game, is pathetic.

Hit him up high if you are really that worried about him getting to your teammate.

Going to be a fun season. As a Packer Fan I hoist one everytime Favre ends up on his rear on the turf. Cheers !

Speaking as a Cheesehead, it appears most Packer fans are pleased with the current situation. Aaron Rogers is playing well, and Favre is playing like he's 40 years old. There were a couple of throws last night where you could see Favre can't blast a pass through the coverage like he could in the past. His cannon arm is losing some zip.

On the other hand, Favre is much better than anyone else the Viking have at QB.

That upcoming Viking/Packer game at GB in early October should be a Barn Burner!
