Liberal Media Bias: Guess What Commercial I *Did* See on ABC?
Vocal Minority ^ | 9/1/09 | EricTheRed_VocalMinority

Last week I posted about how ABC and NBC News refused to air an ad critical of ObamaCare. Well, last night I followed a link provided by a Facebook friend to a news story totally unrelated to politcs at ABC News on-line. But before the actual news clip started, I was subjected to those inescapable advertisements.

And what ad popped up on ABC on-line's video screen? And ad supporting ObamaCare. Brought to you by ... AARP.

The ironic thing is that as we speak the Democrats, through President Hope&Change's Commie "diversity" czar is making plans to obliterate conservative talk radio because it's not "diverse" enough. These are the same folks who have absolutely no problem with a national network airing commercials supporting what they like and banning commercials opposing it.

Nope. No liberal media bias here.

I saw on ABC early this morning (3ish CST) a “story/report” on all the unnecessary mammograms and prostate tests being done.

My first thought was, well here we go - already implementing obamacare.

3 CST?? Whoa. No wonder you’re “grumpy” LOL. Seriously though, if these tests are so unnecessary, why are they doing them? CYA from trial lawyers! And who’s an ally of trial lawyers? The Democrat Party! It’s a vicious vicious cycle, and we’re all screwed.

No surprise in this one. It’s expected. The MSM has been carrying 0bama’s water since the 2004 DhimmiRat convention speech.

It’s time to take back the country.

Is this the one with the ambulance screaming through city streets and as it makes a turn, it’s blocked by a car or two? And it continues to be blocked by more and more cars as the commercial runs? If so, I’ve been seeing this one for the past few days. It’s also “supposed” to be sponsored by AARP.

I was thinking to myself, after watching the one here that ABC WOULDN’T air was, “Hmph, Nope, no political bias here”.....

Ain’t it great to be in the USA at this time of our lives? (sarcasm tag here)

Yes, 3am every morning (including weekends). Oh, and I’m only grumpy in the evenings ;-)

It was a really strange report. I didn’t catch the exact wording but about the prostate tests - they were commenting on so many are done on tumors/problems that wouldn’t kill you anyway.

My hubby said “see, I told you I don’t need to have my prostate examined!” LOL

It’s also “supposed” to be sponsored by AARP. It said AARP at the end of the ad. That's the only way I knew it was them. Why, did you hear they were denying it?

Funny, but to me, it looks like a bunch of lawyers chasing the ambulance. Guess it's a mater of perspective.

I saw this on the evening news - as for that commercial, it has been on ABC for a while.
I thought - how unusual - that we are suddenly going backwards in our message about early detection. It also seemed gender biased in that it suggests early detection for females is not as necessary as thought, while early detection for males seems to be necessary.
Gender bias in our new socialist country?

No, at least not on the usual media channels. But I would like to see What’s What & Who’s Who at AARP, since Mrs. Shredderman is a Member (with me by Default)
