What a great guy. The powers that run our tiny community want to put a gas well in w/o any benefit to the home owners.

Good man. He suggested a letter go to a state operation come from one of us, I took the stand. He said his office will give me a outline of a lettter by the morning that I can use. Ohio is really NOT dem no matter how the state went at the last election.

I am just so happy that the guy voted for, was there for me.

I must say I gave him my thoughts on the health care bill.... he laughed, he will NEVER vote for it. He was the one that brought up the word socialism.

Ask him how the federal government owned car company, GM, can ‘invest’ half a trillion dollars, taken from WAGES of US citizens in China?

Under what legal authority does the federal government build car factories in communist countries?

Ask him what happens when the government starts earning money as a multinational corporation? When their funding is no longer shackled by the relative pittance they earn by taxing wage earning Americans?

He was great. He asked if I would write a letter on behalf of our tiny neighborhood..I said yes but needed the verbage. His office will write it tomorrow morning and send it to me by noon.

I told him that he was up for 2012, I would work my butt off for him if gave us even 25% help.

I ended up hiring him for $1.00

Several months ago I met with my Rep after making an appointment to meet him. It was a pleasure! We talked extensively on a range of issues. He was impressd with my knowledge of current events. (that's easy when you surf FreeRepublic) His secretary was present and she was constantly reminding him of other engagements that he had scheduled. On EVERY issue we shared the same view. He's a true conservative. He stopped me at one point when he called Obama a Marxist! Man, I'd be more than happy to get hime reelected! His name is Ted Poe.

His next appointment was a funeral for a local patriot that was killed in Iraq. The entire wall behind the front desk of his local office was adorned with photos of local patriots that died in Iraq and Afghanistan...

Please clairfy: "The powers that be" ....local government? A private company? Your feudal overlord? State government? An Indian tribe? "Gas well"...natural gas I assume? Or helium? For what purpose? How big? Where in relation to your property? Who will own the well? Who owns the property the well will be located on? Will there be a gas line leading away from the well to a refinery? "Benefit to the homeowners"...do you own the mineral rights? Who does? If you don't, what kind of benefit is it you homeowners are expecting? Free gas? A lovely parting gift? A gas grill?

All that said, I'm happy for you that you like your elected state representative. Mine is a left-wing careerist.
