Gang of 6 no more? Grassley was supposed to be the GOP's guy who was going to get a bipartisan health plan through Congress. Not only did he apparently come to his senses and realize that you can't take away your constituents' health care choices and survive as a Senator, he's outright opposing ObamaCare as a plank on which to get reelected in Iowa next year.

So,...is this good or will Grassley revert to pre-gang of 14 status upon election?
It should play well is Peosta.
He’ll worry about reelection first, and then vote for it.
THE GROUP OF 14
Democrats
Robert Byrd (West Virginia)
Daniel Inouye (Hawaii)
Mary Landrieu (Louisiana)
Joseph Lieberman (Connecticut)
Ben Nelson (Nebraska)
Mark Pryor (Arkansas)
Ken Salazar (Colorado)
Republicans
Lincoln Chafee (Rhode Island)
Susan Collins (Maine)
Mike DeWine (Ohio)
Lindsey Graham (South Carolina)
John McCain (Arizona)
John Warner (Virginia)
Olympia Snowe (Maine)
Oops, misread the number of the Gang.
Grassley didn’t strike me as being among them.
Curiously, I could have sworn that Voinevich would have been on there, too.
What do you think? Yeah, I do too.
If it walks talks and smells like a RINO, vote them the hell out. Any “changes of heart” are usually only for their political survival and after the election they revert to their RINO form.
I seriously doubt it. Chuck is a “team player” but he is not afraid of a fight. As congcritters run,Grass is one of the better ones and not by just a little.
No particular ax to grind, just observation.
