Obama's choices for his Shadow Government has exposed the direction he wants to take the United States. Almost daily, as the backgrounds and views of these appointees become known, it is becoming a wake-up call to Americans that a threat is growing to the freedoms that were once taken for granted. And just how precious are the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

The words of Supreme Court Justice Fexlix Frankfurter are beginning to have more meaning since the election of Barack Obama. It is a little late to get frightened. Americans should be afraid of themselves. Anyone stupid enough to vote for someone without knowing anything about what they stand for is dangerous. Nobody will ever hurt you more than you will hurt yourself when you allow yourself to enter a dangerous area in a dangerous manner.

Americans did not make Bill Clinton their President twice. Ross Perot did. Clinton would have NEVER won a one-on-one race. Even Bob Dole would have beaten him in a one-on-one. In steps Perot and walla ... Clinton wins!

I really resent the idea that we have a President who (completely disregarding the consent of the governed) hands the future of America over to people who have NO stake in whether the country succeeds or fails...regardless of the politics involved, I see NO logic in that.

No logic, no ethics, no morality... I only see a 5th rate politician trying to make political capital out of national adversity. He isn't even a big enough guy to fill the position with credit in good times much less during bad times.

We are stuck with this Kabuki ‘President’ who could care less about America. Advancing the interests of about 15% of the population is all he plans to do.

I completely agree. Before the elections, I told my friends and anyone else who would listen that Barach Obama is a Marxist. He was born to Marxists, raised by Marxists, and mentored by Marxists — charming, educated, and silver-tongued — but Marxist. It didn't matter to the starry-eyed kids or the dreamy middle-aged women, and it didn't matter to anybody who saw him as representative of and “oppressed minority.” And so he won and The Land of the Free lost.

He scared me before the election. I dug into his background and tried to warn everyone I know about this radical man.

But, 52% of the electorate shut their eyes, because they were full of stars. They elected their “American Idol.” I’m rather angry at those lazy people who refused to understand just who t his man was and is.

“ignorancerunsrampant” is correct when he says Americans didn’t get Bill Clinton elected, it was Ross Perot. Clinton only received about 41% of the vote. I think if Perot hadn’t run or if back then, more people had internet access and could freely exchange idea, Clinton would never have been elected.
