During his interview with Chris Wallace today, former Vice President Dick Cheney was asked about the effect of Attorney General Holder's investigation of the CIA and enhanced interrorgation techniques:
Well, you think, for example, in the intelligence arena. We ask those people to do some very difficult things. Sometimes, that put their own lives at risk. They do so at the direction of the president, and they do so with the -- in this case, we had specific legal authority from the Justice Department. And if they are now going to be subject to being investigated and prosecuted by the next administration, nobody's going to sign up for those kinds of missions.
It's a very, very devastating, I think, effect that it has on morale inside the intelligence community. If they assume that they're going to have to be dealing with the political consequences -- and it's clearly a political move. I mean, there's no other rationale for why they're doing this -- then they'll be very reluctant in the future to do that.
It may already be too late, a Washington Post report indicates morale in the CIA is plummeting:

Bad morale and all, I still wish I could work for the agency...
If we are attacked again, it will be directly due to these treasoneous asshats.... What has happened to my country?
Maybe the CIA should use some of its investigatory prowess to dig up some dirt on members of this administration. They all have closets that are full of skeletons.
I’ve expected something like that to happen. A few patriots with info that gets leaked.
CIA rogue agents should remember what happened to Ron Brown on his overseas trip. His plane crashed and Ronnie had a bullet hole in his skull. Isn’t Holder due for an overseas trip?
“Maybe the CIA should use some of its investigatory prowess to dig up some dirt on members of this administration. They all have closets that are full of skeletons.”
Yes, but because this administration is pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, pro-union, anti-business, anti-middleclass, and anti-Christian at every turn, the media will turn a blind eye.
If we're attacked it's all over for Obama. Period. End of story.
The opposite is true.
Obama will use such an attack as the moment where it becomes necessary to seize the internet and shut it down, take military control of the government, impose martial law and enforce it with his civilian security force, take people like you into custody for being rabble-rousers.
Comrad, you will do much better as a citizen who has done a term in one of Obama's socialist re-education camps.

Rest assured. It WILL happen.
It's all a matter of how quickly they can dismantle all the protections that have been built over the years. Fortunately, Obama's a terrible manager, so it's hopefully going slower than it could be.
Time to revive and oldie but a goodie: "Better Dead than Red."
I'll take some of them with me when I go, too.

I hear you. Rahmey may welcome an attack, along with Obama. Obama may attempt what you describe, start martial law, etc, but I'm hoping the subsequent fight will turn in our favor. Take military control of the government I guess we'll see whose side the military is on then, the Constitution or Obama. I was always afraid Clinton was going to pull the martial law thing. I feel in my bones Obama may try it. Steel yourselves and prepare. Have at it Obama. Create a crisis! Bring it on! I'm not going to some damn camp!
The list, ping
