Wouldn't it have been nice if our former VP had followed up with something like "If Eric Holder wants to investigate something, he could start with his boss who has spent upwards of a million dollars on legal fees to keep the details of his birth, his school records and travel history secret and hidden from the American people, and if Mr. 0bama wants to put an end to the speculation about whether or not he is Constitutionally qualified to serve as President, he should just man up and release his personal records to the American people whom he works for".

The thing I love about post-VP Cheney is there is no mincing his words...no thinking involved in his words. He knows where he stands on the issues and he’s not afraid to stand by his people.

Cheney only tells it “like it is” when his own ass is on the line. This follows the same pattern. He lobbied repeatedly to Bush to pardon Scooter but never apparently uttered a peep a protest against Bush’s big leap to socialism, TARP.
