The correct terminology, in McCain’s case, is “reach AROUND,” not “across.”

He’s been crawling across the aisle during his entire Senate career. He is an embarrassment!

I would prefer he reach across the aisle and slap them silly.

Why is she shameless in this exchange? McCain’s whole schtick is about reaching across the aisle, being a maverick (by splitting continually with his party), being bipartisan. Even if there’s an issue on which things have pretty much been decided in favor of Republicans, McCain can be reliably counted on to reach across the aisle and give something away. That’s just who he is. She was right to ask that.

“What was his answer?”
He said that, not only would he cross the aisle, he would cross it on his knees and bow before Barney Frank.
He’d bow, over and over.
Made a weird suckin noise. Or maybe it was a grunt.

It’s high time for McCain to reach across the aisle and finally start working with the Republicans for a change.

McCain lives in the aisle.
There’s nothing for him to reach across.
To: kevao
Yeah, now that would be a switch.

NBC has become the biggest of the State Run Media shills for Obama. General Electric owns NBC and GE President Jeff Immelt is a huge Obama supporter. That’s why MSNBC isn’t off the air - Immelt wants that kind of leftist shilling to go on. MSNBC would have had to shut down under normal circumstances. They have no ratings at all to justify it’s existence profitably.
But as long as GE continues to make light bulbs and jet engines, Immelt will make sure his pal Zerobama will be nothing but celebrated on his network.
