Sorry Dems-- What Looked Like a Partisan Attack Was an SEIU Setup
The Colorado Democratic Headquarters in Denver was vandalized this morning. Eleven windows at the headquarters on Santa Fe Drive were shattered early this morning in a vandalism spree.
CDP Office Vandalism The Dems blamed the vandalism on the health care rhetoric.
But, later in the day authorities arrested a 24 year-old Maurice Schwenkler on suspicion of smashing 11 windows at Colorado Democratic Party headquarters. Shwenkler tried to conceal his identity while allegedly committing the crime, according to police descriptions.

He's a racist!
Update: According to the latest radio report on KOA a second suspect is now in custody. No names were released in the report.
While Schwenkler does not appear in the state’s voter registration database, a person by that name in November 2008 received $500 from a political 527 committee called Colorado Citizens Coalition for “communications,” according to campaign finance disclosures.
A Maurice Schwenkler also signed an online 2005 petition to free anti-war Christian protesters who were captured in Iraq.
State Democratic Party Chairwoman Pat Waak
“We ought to be having a serious, conscientious debate about what’s best for the country,” Waak said. “Clearly there’s been an effort on the other side to stir up hate. I think this is the consequence of it.”
She estimates the damage at $11,000.

Colorado Citizens’ Coalition, a group associated with labor and Democratic interests
Among the seven groups is the Colorado Citizens Coalition, the recipient of $200,000 from the CEA, which lists its mission as to provide information to Colorado citizens. The coalition filed reports indicating it was working on behalf of 17 legislative candidates all Democrats. The coalition and several of the other 527s - Accountability for Colorado, Main Street Colorado, 21st-Century Colorado, Colorado Values - frequently sent money back and forth to each other.
And here the group is identified as being in support of “progressive political candidates”.
Great idea, Waak. Let me know when you're done reading the bill and then we'll debate.
