We are going to do our best..however, the choices are not that great. Although Chris Simcox, the founder of the Minuteman is a pretty good speaker and has some experience, he comes with a cloud over him. There’s another guy, a newcomer who seems like a good man, but has no experience. Why can’t we get one viable alternative to McCain?

With the great public turnout for all of these town hall meetings, I'm hoping some of these citizens are motivated to step up and run for office.

Considering the current state of our Congress, it wouldn't be hard to improve on the current crop of politicians.

And, IMHO, there are some pretty intelligent Freepers that I'd vote for. You included!
