I hated Whale Wars when it first came out because of the hippies. But now I watch it with morbid fascination. The hippies on that ship have absolutely no idea what they are doing and it’s kind of funny to watch their reactions as the japanese ships harvest the whales. That and watching them I realize that some of those hippies are going to die in some mishap because they are not experienced sailors and the Southern Ocean is not a very forgiving place to capsize a zodiac or ram your vessel into another ship.
I love Whale Wars...and you are right...Whale Wars sums up what is wrong with liberalism in a nice 1 hr show.
They're all heart...no brains.
Heck, the French navy sunk a Greenpeace ship. Given the history of the Japanese, they could end that ship at any time.
