it would be so easy to dismiss this...and in fact most people will...except it seems to be coming a bit more common.

listen to the tapes. There’s no dismissing what’s on the tapes. People talk about making bombs, they make threats, etc. He’s about to go to jail and it’s because he blew the whistle on corruption. If people dismiss this, they are looking the other way on corruption.

I thought this was going to be about the “big dig”.

I was born and raised in Tampa, my family has had businesses there since well before the depression.

The level of sheer corruption in the Tampa Police Department is what one would expect in a Banana republic. Since Tampa was once a banana industry import center, perhaps the corruption came from there, but I doubt it.

Having gone to school with the Tampa “elite”, I can assure you the corruption runs deep.

There is a reason those people are called “Tampons” , or was that “Tampans”.

Whatever.

It may be illustrative of my point that once upon a time, nearly all of the county commissioners left their offices wearing handcuffs. The nice young man who offered such large amounts of cash for decisions he wanted made turned out to be employed by the FBI.

A real Oopsie moment.

Tampa Sheriff's department video captured deputies dumping a prisoner out of a wheelchair. Deliberately, too.

Just Tampons, doing their thing.
