The Deval would be kind of cool. He and his wife could have a couple breakdowns, and skip work a few weeks at a time. If they’re going to appoint a lockstep liberal ‘Rat, pick a really bad one, IMHO.
Word here is that 1)Teddy’s plea will be granted by the state legislature and 2)that Coupe Deval,our anything but beloved Governor...whose approval rating is about 20% (honest to God)...will appoint *himself*,thus possibly avoiding the electoral disaster that almost certainly awaits him in a second run for Governor.
