Morissey needs to get to the point quicker! Most people are not going to read to the end of the story. Note that even what is on this thread is excerpted. I realize that it is alluded to in the headline, but conservatives need good newspaper copy; i.e., brief and to the point. Make the major points first. Journalism 101.

I remember Bill Clinton talked a good game for his liberal supporters. But when the chips were down and he knew his chances for a second term were slipping away he lost no time throwing them under the bus. When push comes to shove most politicians choose another term over ethics and loyalty to either a campaign pledge or personal beliefs. It's just a fact of life for politicians. Obama will do whatever he, and the pullers of his strings, think will get him the most support. And if that means going with a more conservative course then so be it.
