57% don’t think the stimulus is working. That’s his biggest problem. He was elected to “fix” the economy. He pushed through a massive plan and it failed (in the eyes of the public.)
Had the stimulus worked, I think the public would be willing to follow his lead a little more on health care. But since it didn’t, they won’t. He had chance to show he understood economics and blew it. Not it’s “he screwed up the stimulus, how do I know he won’t screw up health care?”
How can something work when when a majority of the funds haven't even been released?
Well, you forgot he said that it may take years if ever to see if the stimulus will work. LOL
