I’m pretty sure that that surprise was the result of the forecasters taking their eyes off the wave out in front of Ana that had dumped on Hispaniola earlier; I had a bad feeling about that area last night around 11:00pm but I clicked off and went to bed — gotta get my ‘ugly sleep,’ you know.
Yep, just woke up from my “ugly” sleep. TS Claudia is breaking up over the panhandle just now. I’ve noticed a lot of activity south of Cuba worth noting. Guess Bill is now a Cat 1. So was Charlie when it hit Central Florida.
Gotta love August in Florida.
