Hendrix was a surly drug bum who deserted from the US Army after a year of picking-up trash and washing the latrine (he was NOT Airborne; he was a total loser). That he was not given a DD is to the ever-lasting dishonor of the government. When a band played this in the PI while I was there during the Vietnam War, we all stood and walked out. Garbage then, garbage now.

Electric guitars = instruments for those without musical talent.

Compare the stoned, drugged-out Hendrix with a truly gifted musician such as Joshua Bell.

Jimi wasn't good enough to lick Joshua Bell's shoes.
