The real irony is that the left and its propaganda arm, the MSM, have spared nothing in expressing their venomous and hystrionic hatred of GWB for the last 8 years, making every evil comparison and hateful characterization their twisted minds could conceive, and now they cry about civility and respect for the president. I’ve forwarded a few funny jokes and poster type pictures to my left wing sister and cousin and they really got upset saying basically “disrespect” and “uncivil” and “not in the interest of bipartisanship”. I’ve answered back that this is nothing compared to 8 years of the Bush bashing. I don’t think I’ll hear from them for some time. It’s amazing to me that they are so thin skinned and can’t take even the slightest teasing. My sister has an almost religious fanaticism about Obama. It’s scary. This mindset must be challenged and defeated. Be prepared for a change in relationships however. I’ve never challenged them so much before in the interest of family unity but no more. The threat to our country is too great now and not from outside and not even from terrorists from within but from our own leadership. Beginning immediately I’m taking Obama’s advice and am going to “get in their faces” and “hit back twice as hard”
