“Why shouldnt anyone go to the meetings?”
It’s a free country thus far. Anybody can go to these meetings.
That crippled lady should never have been at that meetings for reasons stated in the story. She would have been safe at home.
No one seems to be understanding what I am trying to relay or pretend not to want to understand. I’ve been there, seen it, done it. If it continues, which I hope it does, this is no place for children or folks at a certain age. Folks at a certain age can relay much wisdom, but should not be physically involved in the event they can endanger younger folks lives.
do you approve of everyone going to the 9/12 march or do you have limitations on that too? i am sorry, i disagree. i think anyone who wants to speak out and be heard no matter what their circumstances, TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION that it might get rough, should go and be heard, no matter where. i think it is demeaning to “that crippled lady” to tell her to stay home.
..lady should never have been to that meeting...

I don’t know who or what you are and your advice may be sound but I haven’t run from a fight yet and don’t intend to start now.
Kind of playing into their hands if people are ‘afraid’ to go to public meetings. Guess you think they should stay in the house at night to.
Paint EVERYONE with a broad brush and you are inviting flames.
To many people (including yourself) think the average person over 50 is what the idiot box says it is...most all they portray in their 50’s are feeble and senile....Not a good description of me and my cohorts—I’m pushing 70 now and will do what it takes etc.....
Just be advised....
I don’t know how handicapped she was, she was young, in her 20’s or so, and besides using a walker, she seemed in complete control of herself.
