If you actually were in war, did you have children and grandparents with you? It not, why not?

That is a stupid comparison, but I'll play the game anyway.
First, every American has a right to be at a meeting with their representative. They have a right not to be physically intimidated by anyone while exercising their First Amendment rights.
Second, if you think that age somehow makes a difference in the exercising of our rights you need to go somewhere like the DU and hang out there.
Third, there were a couple of over 50 troops with me and I did my best not to drop too far behind when they were in the lead. I would put the guys I served with, no matter what their age today against anybody. Period.
Fourth, there are plenty of Father/Son/Daughter and even Mother/Son/Daughter combos in the field today.
Last, since they aren't holding any of the Town Hall Meeting in Panama, what the hell does it matter to you who goes and who doesn't.
